What a nail-biter! Brownsburg East edged out Franklin Central 3-2 in a gritty, hard-fought win that came down to pitching, defense, and just enough clutch hitting to get the job done. Harlan Millbern set the tone early, dealing 4 strong innings on the mound with 5 strikeouts. Reid Pfledderer came in to slam the door, pitching 3 solid innings of relief and recording 3 strikeouts of his own to lock down the win. Offensively, the Bulldogs made their 3 hits count. Cam Folk, Davis Mitchell, and James Caulfield each notched a hit, while RBIs came courtesy of Reid Pfledderer, Nolan Ziegler, and Cam Folk. Caulfield was also a sparkplug on the bases, scoring 2 of the team’s 3 runs. It wasn’t flashy, but it was tough, clean baseball—and it was enough to get the win. Brownsburg East showed heart, hustle, and resilience in this one. Next game Monday 5/5 at home against Westfield at 5:30!
